Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP): Planning to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species Training
HACCP FLIER

May 25 & 26, 2016, 8:AM-4:30PM

The Grand Bay NERR is hosting a HACCP Planning to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species training for all land managers, researchers, public works staff, ecotourism operators, contractors, county road department staff, developers, hunting and fishing association members, golf course managers, marine operators, plant nursery owners and public utilities staff. This training will feature practical examples, case studies, and hands-on exercises for participants to develop real-life HACCP plans tailored to their natural resource projects and research activities.

HACCP planning is a structured process that assesses natural resource management activities, identifies possible risks, and facilitates removal or reduction on non-target species.
The HACCP training has five steps:
1) Activity Description
2) Activity Flow Chart
3) Identify Potential Non-Targets
4) Non-Target Analysis Worksheet
5) Non-Target Risk Assessment Plan (NTRAP)

Cost for each participant is $20. Lunch will be included. Please send cash or check payable to the MS Department of Marine Resources to
