Invasive Exotic Species Workshop
Many exotic plants are invasiveweeds that form expanding populations on our landscape, making landmanagement a challenge. Some exotic animals have also become a problemfor land managers. The rapid and effective dispersalcharacteristics of these invaders make them extremely difficult toeliminate. This program will describe some of the more common andtroublesome invasive exotic plants and animals in this region andcurrent strategies to control them.

Training provided by Apalachicola RegionalStewardship Alliance and Florida Forest Stewardship program.$10 fee covers materials and lunch.
