The Advanced Hydric Soils Class is designed to give participants experience with hydric soil evaluation using field indicators and to describe problem areas in the field
.Participants will spend much of the total training time in the field where they gain hands-on experience with soil description,identification of hydric soil field indicators and examination of problem sites.


Target Audiences:
Forestry Professionals, Mitigation Bank Managers, Natural Resource Managers, State and Federal Regulators, Consultants, and Wetland Professionals.

Instructors include:
Dr. Mike Vepraskas, William Neal Reynolds Professor of Soil Science  and Dr. Dave Lindbo, Professor and Undergraduate Coordinator of Soil Science at North Carolina State University.
