The purpose of the course is to provide expert information on the identification, ecology and practical control and prevention of most prevalent and damaging invasive plants in residential and urban landscapes in South Alabama. In addition, the course explores native plants, selecting plants to increase diversity on the landscape and the use of landscape plants in preventing invasive species proliferation in a residential landscape.
Target audiences include Landscapers, Nurserymen/Growers, Consultants, County and Municipal Employees and Urban Foresters
CEUs will be offered. Upon completion, each participant will receive a certificate of completion. Applied for – 7.25 hr Arborist, 7.25hr Municipal CE Credits, International Society of Arborists Applied for – Ten (10) Commercial Pesticide Applicator Recertification Points, Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industry.
