Katie Dylewski, MS, Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University. Katie Dylewski has over 5 years experience working with local watershed groups to implement low impact development, especially related to the vegetation and maintenance recommendations. Her portfolio includes bioretention, bioswales, vegetated filters, stream enhancement and restoration, and rain garden stormwater control measures. Most recently, Katie was one of the primary authors on the Alabama Low Impact Development Handbook.
Weeks Bay Reserve Coastal Training Program works diligently to offer timely and valuable workshops at a price that benefits its constituents. Registration fee is $50.00 for each workshop or $175.00 for all four. Fee includes workshop materials and lunch. Continuing education (CEUs: 0.5, Hours: 5.00 per event) has been approved through the Office of Professional and Continuing Education, Auburn University. Workshops are a collaboration of Auburn University, Alabama Cooperative Extension, Baldwin County Soil and Water Conservation District, Weeks Bay Foundation, Weeks Bay Reserve Coastal Training Program and cleanwaterfuture.com.
Registration closes on January 20, 2015 for the two January workshops. Registration closes on February 17, 2015 for the two February workshops. No refund of registration fees is available after registration closes. Workshop organizers reserve the right to cancel the workshop due to circumstances that make the event nonviable. Fees will be returned upon organizer cancellation. Space is limited to 30 participants.
