Rain Barrel Workshop, Aug 26, 2017, Grand Bay Reserve

Rain barrels collect and store water during storms that can be used for:

  • watering your lawn or plants in your garden,
  • washing your pets,
  • cleaning your car, and
  • other uses!

They are a great way to save money on your water bill while helping reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff. The Grand Bay NERR will be conducting a workshop on August 26th with information on rain barrels and their importance followed by the construction of the barrels.

Please contact Dennis McGrury to register.
(228) 523-4190 or dennis.mcgrury@dmr.ms.gov.

Cost is $35 per barrel constructed.
