Rain barrels collect and store water during storms that can be used for:
- watering your lawn or plants in your garden,
- washing your pets,
- cleaning your car, and
- other uses!
They are a great way to save money on your water bill while helping reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff. The Grand Bay NERR will be conducting a workshop on August 26th with information on rain barrels and their importance followed by the construction of the barrels.
Please contact Dennis McGrury to register.
